La centrale hydroélectrique de Smithland est équipée de trois turbines ; en raison du calendrier de construction extrêmement serré, les trois tubes, dont les sections changent constamment, sont réalisés en même temps.
Pour la construction des tubes en béton, PERI a planifié et assemblé des unités de coffrage multi-courbes. L'assemblage final du coffrage et la construction de l'étayage sont réalisés sur le site.
Les unités entièrement assemblées, composées d'unités de coffrage et de coffrages surélevés, sont soulevées par une grue jusqu'à la position de bétonnage.
Pour la construction des murs de la centrale électrique, le système grimpant SCS à une face est utilisé. Les charges sont transférées - sans liens de coffrage - via les supports de l'ancrage grimpant de la section de bétonnage précédente.
La dalle au-dessus des tubes a une épaisseur de plus de 4,00 m et est construite en plusieurs étapes de bétonnage. Les charges élevées nécessitent une longue période d'utilisation des coffrages, des unités de coffrage personnalisées et des tours d'étaiement robustes.
L'étaiement à l'intérieur des tubes, qui serviront plus tard de logement à l'éolienne, est constitué d'éléments louables provenant du kit de construction technique VARIOKIT. Grâce aux éléments standardisés du système et aux moyens de raccordement conformes à la construction, le coffrage de soutien peut être réalisé de manière rentable et s'adapter facilement à la géométrie de la structure.
